What seven items should you bring with you when you are shooting an interview?

C- CAMERA
T- TAPE
T- TRIPOD- keep camera steady, lean against something, hand on table
M- MICROPHONE-hang loose
H- HEADPHONES- make sure mic works
P- POWER SOURCE- AC adaptor/ battery
L- LIGHT SOURCE- camera light, floor light, natural lighting

• Shooting into a light source = SILHOUETTE

Button to adjust = BACK LIGHT BUTTON/ ADD LIGHT TO THE FRONT/ FLASH


• Where do you want your light source?
- BEHIND THE CAMERA

• On what object should you focus the camera?
- THE PERSONS NOSE

• No tripod = BAD


• Date and Time = PERMANENTLY PLACED ON TAPE

• MS- MEDIUM SHOT- HALF A PERSON, WIDER OUT

• LS- LONG SHOT- UPPER BODY AND SOME BACKGROUND

• Rule of thirds- IMAGINARY LINES ARE DRAWN DIVIDING THE IMAGE INTO THIRDS BOTH HORIZONTALLY AND VERTICALLY MATCHING RIGHT TO THE EYES
